OmniMapper Features

OmniMapper uses patented SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithms to build a map very similar to a building floor plan as you walk (or drive your robot) through a location. At the same time, OmniMapper overlays sensor data onto the map and shares it live to anyone on your network using either a simple web browser interface or situational awareness. Sensor data that may be localized and shown on the map include omnidirectional photos (i.e. like Google Street View, but indoors), gamma and neutron radiation data, RF and WiFi spectra, magnetic data, chemical concentrations, and particulate levles. Custom or preferred sensors may also be integrated into OmniMapper.

ALL IN ONE SOLUTION

OmniMapper has all necessary algorithms, interfaces, processing and data storage for a wide array of missions in a single unit. You can create and share 2D maps in real time, generate 3D point clouds within a few minutes of mapping an area, replay and edit maps, plug in an array of sensors and tactical radios to the USB and Ethernet Interfaces.

SECURE TACTICAL COMMUNICATIONS

OmniMapper may be used with mesh radios including TrellisWare and Persistent Systems Wave Relay radios or you may use WiFi for general applications. OmniMapper is supported by several Situational Awareness tools and includes a web interface that shows mappinjg results in real time that may be accessed using any WiFi enabled tablet or smart phone.

RUGGEDIZED FOR DEMANDING ENVIRONMENTS

OmniMapper is sealed and splashproof to allow easy decontamination and operation in hazardous areas. RF emissions may be disabled for EOD applications.

FLEXIBLE MOUNTING OPTIONS

OmniMapper can be mounted on an included backpack frame, optional SCBA tank mount or on a robotic vehicle or cart for ultimate application flexibility.
